Green Track Arriving at Kings Island
Kings Island Extreme has posted construction photos of King's Island's Firehawk coaster. The Vekoma flying coaster was formerly X-Flight at Geauga Lake. The track will be repainted an "oxide red" (kind of a red-orange-brown). Its new home will be in the Coney Mall section of the park next to the Flight of Fear coaster and it is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend 2007. It will be Kings Island's 14th roller coaster. See the rest of the Firehawk construction photos here. See my previous post for all the details, including a link to an onride video.
